Ellis’s writing aims to preserve the unique heritage of Gulf Coast communities, such as Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Gulfport, DeLisle, Kiln, Slidell. He accomplishes this by sharing historical anecdotes and stories gathered from local personalities and archived records. He has also published several historical novels that reveal the culture and life of a period gone by.
